Blackpaw

Blackpaw (Adrian Rodriguez) is a Los Angeles–based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and DJ whose sound blends house, techno, disco, and dance-pop. He began his career in the alternative music scene, playing bass with artists including Hanni El Khatib, The Airborne Toxic Event, and Twin Shadow, performing at major venues and festivals around the world.

In 2025, Blackpaw forged a new creative path with IT DOES, a cheeky techno-rap collaboration with Liverpool duo Big Sis. Beyond his own releases, he's built a reputation for cultivating community through Paradise Vice, the Los Angeles dance party he founded, which has hosted secret guest DJs from around the globe.

He kicked off 2026 with the indie-dance single "I Like It" on Mi Domina Records and is set to release his debut full-length techno/electro LP in fall 2026.
